Here are some reviews of my work, which have appeared online as well:

Lindsey Goddard has an impressive talent for getting inside the minds of her characters — both innocent and malevolent — which makes her scenes of horror all the more disturbing. -Graham Masterton, author of Charnel House

Lindsey Goddard is a fine writer and if you appreciate such a wordsmith, I want to highly recommend her work. This story is heart wrenching and horrifying all at once. It’s not so much about a cult as it is about being hostage to unyielding ideas. It’s about loss, love, and the cruelty family members do to one another. There is raw pain, deep understanding, and a deft hand telling the story. Watch this writer in the future. She’s got what it takes. -Billie Sue Mosiman, author of Edgar-nominated Night Cruise and the new thriller, The Grey Matter

Sentences in this book could be framed as individual masterpieces. I am not given to exaggerated praise, the writing is simply that good. -Chuck Anderson on Ashes of Another Life

Lindsey Beth Goddard's 'Quick Fix: A Taste of Terror' is an amazing collection of dark and chilling tales. Within the pages, you'll find Lindsey's words quickly craft distinct and specific images in your head. She has a real gift for imagery and creating pictures with her words that heighten the already 'Twilight Zone' style of each of the stories. As weird tales go, this is a great standard set by a talented and skilled voice. If you're looking for creepy chills, 'Quick Fix: A Taste of Terror' will capture your mind's eye with weird candy that you will not regret eating. -Bowie Ibarra

Lindsey Beth Goddard is a seriously talented writer who knows how to frighten and disturb. Her attention to detail is superb, her use of language exquisite. With tightly woven plots and crisp prose, Goddard is a must read! -David Bernstein

Lindsey Beth Goddard's All The Rage mixes Lovecraft-style elder-god madness with heavy metal to create a soul-devouring tale of brain-melting music and audience massacre without anyone even touching a blade. Great lines in this one. -E.S. Wynn

Lindsey Beth Goddard manages to grab your attention in her story The Gift by opening on a casual conversation while someone is cleaning a harpoon. Maybe that’s me, but when you just sort of toss harpoon cleaning in as an “oh by the way” I have to know why. I’ll leave you to find the answer on your own. -William Tooker

Goddard's work is something the horror genre is desperately missing today: honest. Far from the 2-bit writers who cling desperately to the coat tails of the popular genre, she simply writes and what comes out is the genuine, spine tingling stories of a true horror fan. Her work holds a sense of wonder reminiscent of the Twilight Zone but infused with a good dose of John Carpenter. Remember how you felt as a child when you saw the film version of Stephen King's It for the first time? If you want to feel that way again, read Respect for the Dead. And anything else that comes from this talented young lady! -Michael Critzer
